The Lost Cat
Listen to the Story
Emma lived in a small town. One day, she lost her cat, Milo. He was a small, orange cat with green eyes. Emma looked everywhere, but she could not find him.
She asked her neighbors, “Have you seen Milo?”
“No, I haven’t,” said Mr. Brown.
Emma walked to the park. She saw a dog, some children, and an old lady. But she did not see Milo.
She went to the supermarket and asked the cashier, “Have you seen a small, orange cat?”
“Yes!” said the cashier. “I saw a cat near the library.”
Emma ran to the library. She looked behind the big bookshelves. Suddenly, she heard a soft “meow.”
Milo was sitting near a window. He looked happy. Emma picked him up and said, “You scared me, Milo! But I am happy to see you.”
She took Milo home, gave him some food, and hugged him.
