The Lost Wallet

Listen to the Story

Tom was walking home from the supermarket. He had a bag of apples, bread, and milk. When he arrived home, he looked in his pocket. His wallet was gone!

“Oh no!” Tom said. “Where is my wallet?”

He thought for a moment. “Maybe I lost it at the supermarket.”

Tom ran back to the store and asked the cashier, “Did you find a wallet?”

“No, I didn’t,” said the cashier.

Tom looked in the fruit section. Next, he looked in the dairy section. Finally, he looked near the shelves of bread. But he did not find his wallet.

He felt sad and walked outside. Then, he heard a voice.

“Excuse me! Is this your wallet?”

It was an elderly man. He held a small, brown wallet.

“Yes!” Tom said. “Thank you very much!”

Tom smiled and went home, happy to have his wallet again.
