Jean et moi avions enfin réalisé notre rêve d'explorer la France ! Dès notre arrivée à Paris, nous étions émerveillés par l'atmosphère vibrante de la ville. Nous nous sommes installés dans un petit appartement charmant dans le Marais. Jean and I had finally realized our dream of exploring France! Upon our arrival in Paris, we were amazed by the vibrant atmosphere of the city. We settled into a charming little apartment in the Marais district.
« Je n'arrive pas à croire qu'on y soit enfin, » s'exclama Jean en déposant ses valises. « Paris, nous voilà ! » "I can't believe we're finally here," exclaimed Jean as he put down his bags. "Paris, here we come!"
Le premier jour, nous avons visité la Tour Eiffel. En haut, la vue était à couper le souffle. On the first day, we visited the Eiffel Tower. The view from the top was breathtaking.
« Regarde cette vue ! » dis-je, les yeux écarquillés. « C'est encore plus beau que sur les photos. » "Look at that view!" I said, wide-eyed. "It's even more beautiful than in the photos."
« On devrait en profiter pour prendre des tas de photos, » répondit Jean en sortant son appareil. "We should take tons of photos," Jean replied, taking out his camera.
Nous avons ensuite flâné sur les Champs-Élysées, savourant des macarons de Ladurée. Là, nous avons rencontré Sophie, une étudiante en histoire de l'art. We then strolled along the Champs-Élysées, savoring macarons from Ladurée. There, we met Sophie, an art history student.
